What is the difference between Starter and Professional?
Professional includes everything in Starter and adds full white-label on your own domain (portal.yourcompany.com), email alarm notifications, outbound webhooks to your ERP or CRM, and priority support by phone and WhatsApp. It also includes 100 meters instead of 20, and the extra-meter price drops from €0.50 to €0.35. Leak detection is included on both plans. The network is not tied to the plan: on either one, each site uses your own gateway or the network managed by our LoRaWAN partner.
How does per-meter pricing work?
Each plan is a flat monthly fee with meters included (20 on Starter, 100 on Professional) plus a fixed price for every meter beyond that: €0.50 on Starter and €0.35 on Professional, per meter per month. The managed LoRaWAN network is quoted per site, on either plan. No setup fee. Prices exclude VAT.
What happens after the 30-day trial?
You pick a plan or you cancel. We never bill you without your explicit confirmation.
Is this what I charge my customer?
No. The price we give you is what the platform costs you. What you charge the community or the end customer is yours to set and to invoice, under your own brand.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. No contracts, no lock-in. Export your data and cancel from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Is the branded portal included on every plan?
Yes. Your logo, your colors and a custom subdomain (yourbrand.datakubo.com) are included in Starter. Your own domain (portal.yourcompany.com) is included in Professional.
What if I’m not sure my meters will fit?
Send us the meter model and the Google Maps pin of the site. We check compatibility and coverage for free before you commit to anything. If a meter is not supported yet, we write the decoder for free within 24 hours.
Can I mix my own gateways with the managed network?
Yes. Connectivity is chosen per site, on either plan: some communities on your own gateway and others on the network managed by our LoRaWAN partner, in the same account and the same portal. The managed network is quoted per site, based on coverage and the number of devices.
What if my site has no coverage?
The managed network works wherever our LoRaWAN network partner is deployed. To check a site, send us its Google Maps pin: the check is free. Outside coverage, you can use your own gateway, or we quote a solution case by case.
