IoT Message Cost Calculator
Most IoT platforms charge per input or per record — and every field in your payload counts separately. Calculate your real monthly costs and see how per-device pricing compares.

Why DataKubo is different
DataKubo charges per device, not per message or per input. A webhook with 1 field or 30 fields counts the same: 1 call. Your dashboard usage (viewing data, charts, reports) is unlimited and never counted toward any limit.

Frequently Asked Questions
What counts as an "input" on other platforms?
On platforms like Tago.io, every individual data field in a message counts as a separate input. A single LoRaWAN uplink with consumption, battery, signal strength, SNR, and region = 5 inputs. With 30 devices sending every 30 minutes, that adds up to nearly 1 million inputs per month.
What counts as a webhook call on DataKubo?
One HTTP request to our ingestion endpoint = 1 webhook call, regardless of how many fields are in the payload. We extract the data we need (consumption, battery, GPS) and store it efficiently. Dashboard usage is unlimited.
What happens if I exceed 100K webhook calls?
Contact us for higher limits. For context: 100K calls supports about 138 devices sending data every 30 minutes around the clock. Most deployments under 100 devices are well within limits.
Can I migrate from Tago.io or Datacake?
Yes. If you use ChirpStack or TTN, just point your webhook to DataKubo. Your devices start flowing data immediately. No code changes needed on your network server.
